Microcosms is a collaborative program between the Museum and The Public Theater that explores theater as a tool for science communication and the impact of scientific ideas on a theater artist’s practice.

An excerpt from the illustration for "Stellar Legacy", a song celebrates Population I stars
An excerpt from the illustration for "The Little Stars That Could", a song about a life of small Pop III star.
Along with four astrophysicists and five theater makers in the first Microcosms cohort , I co-created an astronomy-based narrative "Cosmic Bone" and designed illustrations for astronomy-inspired a musical composition, "Pop Songs for Pop Songs." We brought these works to life in a performance at the Hayden Planetarium in December 2023.
